Consequently, the tuition fee in Ireland is much lower as compared to that in the US, Australia, or Switzerland.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thanks to the Free Fees Initiative, there is no tuition charge for students from EU\/EEA or Switzerland who want to do an undergraduate course in Ireland. All you have to do is pay a registration fee of about <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u26ac3,000.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, if you are from the <\/span>EU\/EEA or Switzerland and want to pursue a graduate degree, you will have to pay the tuition fee. If shortlisted, you will receive a letter of acceptance, which you can then use to apply for a Student Visa!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"what-about-a-student-visa-for-ireland\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">What about a student visa for Ireland?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are from EU\/EEA, Switzerland, or belong to one of the countries on <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/f.hubspotusercontent00.net\/hubfs\/3315205\/Countries%20whose%20citizens%20do%20not%20require%20to%20be%20in%20possession%20of%20a%20valid%20Irish%20visa.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">this list<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, you don&#8217;t need to apply for a Student Visa. Otherwise, you will need a Student Visa. In case your course duration is less than 90 days, you&#8217;ll have to apply for a &#8216;C Study Visa.&#8217; If it&#8217;s more than that, I suggest you go for the &#8216;D Study Visa.&#8217;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once you know which visa type you have to apply for, you can visit the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.inis.gov.ie\/en\/INIS\/Pages\/Home\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> website<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and start your process.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"documents-required\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Documents required<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The documents you&#8217;ll need for the visa include &#8211;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A letter of acceptance from a recognized school, college or university confirming that you have been accepted onto a full-time course<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Evidence of your academic and English language ability<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Confirmation that course fees have been paid in full<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proof that you have sufficient funds (usually \u26ac7,000) to support yourself during your stay<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Evidence that you or a sponsor have access to at least \u26ac7,000 for each subsequent year of your Higher studies<\/span> in Ireland<\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Verification of private medical insurance or EHIC possession<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An explanation of any gaps in your educational history<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Evidence of academic ability to pursue your chosen course<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Confirmation of your intent to return to your home country after leaving Ireland<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two recent passport-sized photographs<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A passport which is valid for at least six months after the course will end<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a mandatory condition, your passport needs to be valid for 12 months i.e., after your proposed date of arrival in Ireland<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The cost of applying for a Student Visa for Ireland is \u26ac60. Make sure you apply for it well in advance because it will take at least 8 weeks to process. Once you have your visa, you can book your flight tickets and arrange accommodation.
