      Hey Amandeep,
generally top universities in USA such as MIT, Stanford, Columbia University, etc. require a minimum TOEFL score of 100 for you to get selected. That being said, having a strong profile(with good work experience, overall good scores, SOP, etc.) could definitely help you get in if you've got a lower score than that.

      Hey Umang,
In general, sending your TOEFL score afterwards is not the recommended way to apply to colleges. Some reject the application immediately while other colleges have been seen to have allowed students to do that based on their unofficial scores mentioned and make it official after the documents have been provided. If you have any further queries you could reach out to us at (https://ischoolconnect.com/contact-us).

A score of 93 in TOEFL IBT is an impressive score. The recommended score by the top universities in the United States is generally 100-110 in TOEFL exam, but there are some universities will accept a score of 93 in TOEFL. Universities accepting this score are:

Illinois Institute of Technology Pennsylvania State University Rice University Trinity International University University of Tennessee Georgia Institute of Technology Florida State University Florida A&M University East Tennessee State University East Carolina Unversity, and many others. Be sure to check out these universities on iSchoolConnect to know the average tuition fees, average living costs, ranks, etc.

Most universities require IELTS and GMAT scores but some universities also allow TOEFL scores. A score of 100 is decent enough but if you want to apply for top universities you need more then this. An ideal score between 100-110 is required for top universities in UK. Another widely accepted alternative for TOEFL is the IELTS exam. While there are some universities that accept TOEFL, there are a high number of universities in Europe that prefer the IELTS exam scores. Some of the top UK universities that accept TOEFL scores are:

University of Derby University of Stirling Hult International Business School University of Leeds Manchester Metropolitan University

      Here's the new TOEFL pattern-

      Reading (54–72 minutes)
30–40 questions Read passages and respond to questions
      Listening (41–57 minutes)
28–39 questions Answer questions about brief lectures or classroom discussions
      Speaking (17 minutes)
4 tasks Talk about a familiar topic and discuss material you read and listened to
      Writing (50 minutes)
2 tasks Read a passage, listen to a recording, type your response

The test time has been reduced. But so have the number of questions. So, it should not affect your scores in any manner.

If you cancel the exam 4 days before your exam date, you'll get a 50% refund.
Rescheduling, on the other hand, will cost you $60.
If you're planning to give it, anyway, I suggest you reschedule instead of cancel.

Prepare a standard response structure for each question type.
You can dedicate the first sentence to stating the task, then state your opinion along with supporting arguments, and end with a conclusion.
This way, you’ll have a format in mind, and won’t feel baffled when presented with a question.

As you’re attempting each question, notice the question type. It may be a question asking the purpose behind a certain statement, a sentence insertion question, or a vocabulary testing question. At the end of the test, notice which question type you’re failing to answer, and improve your score accordingly.

I think it's important to make notes
      Even if it's minimal
It helps you keep track of the structure

I think it's a good idea to give a mock test at the end of every week for the section you have studied

      PTE-
PTE is a three-hour long test.
The main parts of the exam include speaking and writing (together), listening, and reading.
You will also have the option to take a 10-minute break between the reading and listening sections.

During the test, you will encounter 20 different question formats, ranging from multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and essay writing to interpreting and repeating information.

      For TOEFL, refer this chart

      PTE is less widely accepted
But more fair and easier to prepare for
