        Hey Devki!

The average SAT score composite that you are expected to achieve is 1440, on the 1600 scale. This is a score that classifies NYU among the ‘strongly competitive’ universities for SAT scores. Scoring close to the 75th percentile and above can easily grant you admission to the next round of the selection process.

These are the scores that you will be expected to achieve in the SAT exam –

        Section – Math
        Average – 740
        75th Percentile – 790

        Section – Reading + Writing
        Average – 700
        75th Percentile – 740

        Section – Composite
        Average – 1440
        75th Percentile – 1510

When learning how to get admission in NYU, the Score Choice policy is an important aspect to consider.

NYU has a Score Choice policy of ‘Contact School’. This means that the school encourages you to contact them directly to learn more about their Score Choice policies. For the ACT exam, you will be expected to score an average of 32, with the 75th percentile ACT score being 34.
