Hi Rajesh,
The number of words in an SOP can range between 800 and 1200.
I would advise that, once your SOP word count reaches 800, don't go on adding unnecessary details. Remember, a good SOP conveys its information in as few words as possible.

I think 1000 words or 1 to 1.5 pages is the usual SOP length
But, yeah, be efficient with your words
