The Institution of Navarra is a private university founded in 1952 by Saint Josemaria Escrivá de Balaguer. The university’s undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs enroll about 11,400 students, including many overseas master’s students. Its major campuses are in Pamplona and San Sebastián, with offices in Barcelona, Madrid, New York, Munich, and So Paulo for its famed IESE Business School. The institution opened a new museum of modern art in January 2015, built by renowned architect Rafael Moneo. The University of Navarra ranks 242nd in the QS World University Rankings 2019.
