What is the IELTS score calculator?

Hey Sana,
The IELTS score calculator IDP is a useful tool for keeping track of your exam score. Furthermore, the IELTS overall band score is calculated by adding the average of all section scores (listening, reading, writing, and speaking).

To get the final band score, the scores from each segment are weighted evenly and rounded off to the closest full or half band. For example, if your average is 6.75, your final score will be 7. Your final score, on the other hand, will rise to 6.5 if your total average is 6.25 or fall to 6 if your total average is 6.1.
