1 DAAD scholarship

  • Own a university diploma and work experience from your home country,

  • Wish to pursue a post-doctoral research project (2-6 months for experienced university professors) at a German university, or get a master's degree or a Ph.D. at a German institution

  • Are a devout Catholic (or general belong to a Christian denomination). 

  • If a candidate is recommended by Catholic partners, they are eligible to apply for the scholarship despite being from another religion. The candidates can demonstrate their commitment to interfaith dialogue.

  • Before beginning your courses, you should be able to communicate in German (KAAD can provide a language course of max. six months in Germany)

  • Students interested in the KAAD scholarship should apply directly to the university for degree programs.

  • Aside from the paperwork required to apply for the KAAD scholarship, you should find out what other documents you might need to make your studies easier.

To study in Germany, you can apply directly for a program at a German institution. Some institutions accept scholarship applications online, and others need hardcopy applications sent through the mail
