Scholarships for Germany

• The first step is to go to the DAAD scholarship website and obtain the application form. Fill up the blanks on this form with your personal information.

• The next step is to obtain a Europas Specimen form, which will assist you in creating a customized CV with your signature.

• Make sure you have a motivation letter that is handwritten and includes your job history and references.

• Universities in Germany may ask for a research proposal, which you should include with your application.

• Be sure to include a letter of recommendation from your former university.

• Make sure to include a professional recommendation letter from your previous workplace.

• It is optional to include a letter stating that you will be reemployed if you return to your home country after completing the course.
  
  

English and German proficiency examinations are available for students to take. These are some of them:

• IELTS: Individual institutions establish the approval scores based on the course chosen.

You can apply for KAAD's first scholarship program if you:

• Are now residing in a developing or rising nation in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, or Latin America.

• Own a university diploma and work experience from your home country,

• Wish to pursue a post-doctoral research project (2-6 months for experienced university professors) at a German university, or get a master's degree or a Ph.D. at a German institution

• Are a devout Catholic (or general belong to a Christian denomination). 

• If a candidate is recommended by Catholic partners, they are eligible to apply for the scholarship despite being from another religion. The candidates can demonstrate their commitment to interfaith dialogue.

• Before beginning your courses, you should be able to communicate in German (KAAD can provide a language course of max. six months in Germany)

• Students interested in the KAAD scholarship should apply directly to the university for degree programs.
