A private Ivy League university, Princeton University was founded in 1746. It is the fourth-oldest institution of higher education in the United States and is located in Princeton, New Jersey. The university offers various undergraduate and graduate courses in art, architecture, humanities, natural sciences, social sciences, and engineering. The university is further organized into three academic divisions: The College, the Woodrow Wilson School of Public & International Affairs, and the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
