The program offers students an opportunity to obtain the master's degree and have the option of adding the Adapted Physical Added Authorization onto an existing teaching credential. This program trains students in aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, flight mechanics and controls, astronautics, and systems engineering. The department has nine laboratories, including a Subsonic Wind Tunnel, a Supersonic Wind Tunnel and an Uninhabited Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Laboratory. The curriculum covers theoretical, computational, and experimental content. The computational and simulation approach uses some of the key industry tools such as Fluent, NASTRAN, AMESim, CORE, Solid Works, MATLAB, and Free Flight. The experimental approach uses 10 aerospace laboratories.
