Appication Process for this scholarship

  • LOR: A reference letter should be written by a referee who knows applicants academically and can talk about their work ethic, interaction with other students, and their suitability for higher education or a future career
  • In a current or recent school or college- reference from a tutor, teacher, principal, or the headteacher
  • If left education years ago- an employer, volunteering supervisor, or trainer
  • Academic transcripts
  • In addition to the UCAS application, applicants also need to submit a Cambridge Online Preliminary Application (COPA)
  • After filling their UCAS application, applicants need to submit the Supplementary Application Questionnaire (SAQ)
  • Personal statement: Students can write up to 4,000 characters of text and should mention the following:
    • Why you are applying – your ambitions and what interests you about the subject, course providers, and higher education
    • What makes you suitable – any relevant skills, experience or achievements gained from education, work, or other activities
    • Why you want to study in the UK
    • Your English language skills and any English courses or tests you’ve taken
    • Why you want to be an international student rather than study in your own country

Scholarship Eligibility

  • CISCE and NIOS – applicants will require scores of 90% or higher in five or more relevant subjects
  • CBSE – applicants will require five or more A1 grades in relevant subjects
  • State Boards – applicants will be considered on a case by case basis Applicants will typically require scores of 95% or equivalent in five or more relevant subject
  • Subject required: Mathematics
  • IELTS: 75 with 70 or above in each element
  • Interview: All applicants are required to take the Computer Science Admissions Test (CSAT) at interview, if interviewed
