Scholarship Overview

This award became hooked up in memory of the late M. Chandrashekar, a Professor inside the Department of Systems Design Engineering for greater than twenty-five years. It is expected that the awardee be a full-time graduate student at the University of Waterloo on the time of software. He/she won’t be past the 1/3 term in the Master’s program or the ninth term in the Ph.D. Program. The motive of this award is to provide economic support for graduate college students within the Faculty of Engineering who are running inside the area of sustainable, environmentally benign electricity-including solar electricity, wind power, and biomass electricity or in obtaining a deeper expertise of the way energy utilization affects our environment, with a goal towards mitigating that impact.

Scholarship Eligibility

  • The student must be enrolled in a full-time Graduate program at the University at the time of application.
  • Applicant must not be beyond the third term in the Master’s program while applying.
