Appication Process for this scholarship
- Students need to complete the Pre-arrival study skills course by 23:59 (BST) on 5 October 2025.
- The course must be fully completed and confirmed by the certificate of completion.
- Students will be automatically identified and notified of the successful award via their Essex email if they meet the eligibility criteria listed above.

Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship when they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. No separate application is needed.

Scholarship Eligibility
- Students must register for their first year of full-time undergraduate study at the University of Essex in October 2025-26.
- Students must complete the pre-arrival study skills course by 23:59 (BST) on 5 October 2025.
Anyone who completes the course on or after 6 October 2025 will not be eligible. - Students must complete the full course and receive the completion certificate to be eligible.
- This bursary is available for the first year of study in 2025-26 only.
- This bursary may be held in conjunction with other University awards.
- Successful applicants should be available for promotional activities.
