Scholarship Overview

The Women in Finance Scholarship is offered with the aid of FINCAD. Numerix remains devoted to assisting talented ladies inside the capital markets via the annual Women in Finance Scholarship opportunity. The Women in Finance Scholarship is geared toward encouraging and assisting talented women in the discipline of finance, specifically those pursuing careers in financial asset management, market risk management, fixed-income, and derivatives finance within the capital markets. The scholarship launched in 2014 as the FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship and has been continued following the 2023 acquisition of FINCAD with the aid of Numerix.

  • This scholarship is applicable for a Master’s or PhD Finance program on a full-time basis

Scholarship amount details

  • Max scholarship per student: USD 20000
  • Conversion rate used: 1 USD = Rs. 84.08
  • Scholarship amount will be given: One Time
  • Once a year, an award of US$20,000 is given to one eligible woman to help support graduate-level studies in Finance, with 50% of the award being paid directly to the winner and the remaining 50% being paid to the educational institution to directly assist with tuition.

Scholarship Eligibility

To be eligible for the scholarship, you must:

  • Be enrolled and attending a Master’s or PhD Finance program on a full-time basis
  • Have commenced your studies no earlier than January 1, 2024 or no later than February 1, 2025
  • Have less than 10 years of total work experience, and less than 5 years of professional experience in the financial field
  • Be a female citizen of any country who is enrolled in a post-graduate program in Finance at an accredited university
