Appication Process for this scholarship

 

  • Students interested in being reviewed for scholarships must submit a completed application for admission and supporting credentials by February 1 at the latest.
  • Students meeting that deadline are automatically reviewed for scholarships.
  • The Committee makes decisions weekly on a rolling basis. Therefore, if you would like to increase your chances for scholarships, it is in your best interest to apply early.

Scholarship Eligibility

Incoming international first-year students are considered for international student merit-based scholarships. Transfer and adult students are encouraged to seek potential scholarship funding through the University’s scholarship database, PittFund$Me. In addition to meeting the February 1 completed application deadline, the following criteria also apply:

  • Submission of the international student short answer response, Common Application essay, or a personal statement is required for scholarship consideration.
  • Scholarships are available only for students admitted to the fall (August) term.
  • In order for an application to be considered complete, the admissions committee must receive the online application, required academic records, and test scores by February 1. This means that documents and test scores should be submitted at least 1-2 weeks before February 1 to ensure the admissions committee receives them by the deadline.
