The Otis A. Singletary Scholarship is provided by the University of Kentucky in the USA. Otis A. Singletary Scholarship is named after the University of Kentucky’s eighth president. Each year, up to 25 Singletary Scholars receive a prestigious advantage scholarship for his or her destiny ability to guide lives of mind, integrity, and service within the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the sector. Each Singletary scholar is admitted to the Lewis Honors College, which pursues the domestication of their management ability through self-awareness exams, dynamic study room discussions, conversations with community leaders, and experiential getting-to-know, amongst many possibilities.

Appication Process for this scholarship

  • Students must meet the traditional or test optional minimum criteria, apply for admission, complete the competitive scholarship section of the admission application and submit all supporting documents, including high school transcript, as soon as possible but by no later than December 1, 2024, to have their application reviewed in this highly competitive program
  • A limited number of awards will be offered. Selected applicants may be invited to campus for interviews
  • Please note, these scholarships are highly competitive
  • Students selected for the Otis A. Singletary Scholarship are required to enroll in the Lewis Honors College, therefore students applying for the Singletary Scholarship are also required to apply for the Lewis Honors College by the December 1 deadline

  • TEST OPTIONAL CRITERIA (UNWEIGHTED GPA) – 4.00
