Scholarship Overview

Provost’s Academic Scholarship is offered by the University of Birmingham Dubai . Provost’s Academic Scholarship is awarded to Masters Degree and Masters Certificate students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given one time. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is UAE Dirham 68293. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. To qualify for the award, candidates must have completed the Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE.

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Applicants must hold a good Honours degree (2:1 or higher) or postgraduate diploma from a UK university or equivalent
  • Either a four-year Bachelor’s degree (first-class or very good upper second class) or a three-year Bachelor’s degree (first-class) from recognized institutions in India
  • English Language Proficiency:
    • TOEFL: 80 overall with no less than 19 in Reading, 19 in Listening, 21 in Speaking, and 19 in Writing
    • IELTS: 60 with no less than 55 in any band
    • PTE: 64 with no less than 59 in all four skills
