The Scholarship value is £2,000 in your first full academic year of study (all successful applicants on a foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate programme) and £1,000 for each subsequent year of study for full-time undergraduate students only.

Scholarship Eligibility

Applicants must fulfil any of the following academic requirements:

  • Minimum of 55% or CGPA 58/10 from a recognised Indian university
  • 50% or CGPA 55/10 minimum from the following universities: Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Anna, Jadavpur or Kolkata University
  • Applicants must fulfil any of the English Language requirements:
  • For Art and Design, Business (except MBA and HRM), Computing, Sport, Engineering, Science, TV Production, Journalism, Multimedia Public Relations, Mass Communications:
    • IELTS: 6.0
    • PTE: 52
  • For MBA, Education, English, Law (LLM), History, Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, Youth Studies, Criminal Investigation, Human Resource Management:
    • IELTS: 6.5
    • PTE: 58
  • Alternatively, if the applicant combines their in-country qualification with an interview with the ELC, the following criteria will apply Applicants from India have scored the following marks in CBSE XII and in English subject:
    • Accepted grades/marks: 70%+
    • £1,500 Scholarship: 75% -79%
    • £2,000 Scholarship: 80%+
  • If applicants have achieved an IELTS score of 5 above the minimum requirement for the course, they will be awarded £1,500
  • If applicants have achieved an IELTS score of 10 above the minimum requirement for the course, they will be awarded £2,000
