Appication Process for this scholarship

  • Receive an offer to study at Bangor University.
  • Verify eligibility for the scholarship and review conditions.
  • Submit the Vice-Chancellor scholarship application form before the deadline.
  • Eligible applications are forwarded to the academic school for decision; candidates will be notified by July 2024 (for September intake) or January 2025 (for January intake).
  • Undergraduate scholarship recipients must select Bangor University as their Firm Choice in UCAS or confirm acceptance via the direct application system.
  • Complete the scholarship acceptance form and pay a £2,000 tuition fee deposit within two weeks of receiving the scholarship offer.

  • Excellent Academic Background – achieved or on course to achieve the equivalent of a UK 1st class Bachelors degree
  • Demonstrated commitment towards sustainable development in your own country and working towards supporting future generations
  • must be self-funding Candidates who are fully sponsored by a third party will not be entitled to this Scholarship
  • Only open to students paying International Tuition Fee Levels
  • The above scholarship is available for full-time on-campus courses only
  • Not open to students studying at Bangor University International College (BUIC)
  • Not open to Non-graduating students eg Study Abroad
