IELTS Exam 2023: Fees, Registration, Syllabus, Results & Scores

The candidate will be asked to upload a scanned copy of their passport when registering for IELTS. It must be valid both at the time of registration and on the test day. Candidates must be at least 16 years old, and those under the age of 18 will require parental permission.

Candidates who register for the IELTS test online must also pay for it online. They will need a bank card (credit/debit card) for this. For offline bookings, demand draughts (DD) are accepted.

An IELTS test costs Rs 14,700 to register for.

Once the candidate has registered for IELTS on a day that is convenient for them, they will receive a confirmation email to their registered email address. As a result, candidates should supply an email address they currently use.

Q. Can I change my IELTS test date?

A. Candidates have the option to cancel or reschedule their IELTS exam, but they must do it in person or via email. Candidates, on the other hand, can postpone or cancel the exam in person or via email.  In case of cancellation or if you happen to postpone your exams for any reason before 5 weeks of your scheduled exam dates then you will receive a refund of less than 25% of your fees, if it is fewer than 5 weeks then there is no refund.

A. Examiners do not need to repeat questions in the IELTS Listening test because the questions are given to test takers in written form. Candidates can, therefore, repeat the questions if they like.

Q. Can I use a watch during the IELTS exam?

A. The IELTS test does not allow test takers to wear watches. The examination centre has a clock so that test takers can check the time while taking the exam.
