Because of the present COVID situation, TOEFL test dates may be limited at TOEFL test centers in India. However, ETS has always prioritized safety. Candidates who wish to register for the test must first create their profile on the official TOEFL website.

In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, ETS has released the TOEFL at the Home version of the TOEFL test for locations where the TOEFL iBT test is available. For the TOEFL at Home test, there are no set TOEFL dates. Candidates can book the TOEFL Home edition at a time that is suitable for them. To take the TOEFL test in 2021, candidates must have the required system requirements as well as a suitable atmosphere.

1 When should you take the TOEFL test?

One of the advantages of the TOEFL is that it has no set dates. Aspirants are recommended to register for their TOEFL exam once they have completed their preparation.  According to professionals, the best time to take your first TOEFL is 45 days before your university's admission deadline. Applicants would also have adequate time to retake the TOEFL if their first scores are unsatisfactory.

2 Dates for the TOEFL 2021/2022 Exam in India

TOEFL examinations are held once a month in every major city in India, although applicants should book slots well in advance due to limited availability. TOEFL at Home is offered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with tests available after 24 hours of enrollment.

Throughout the day, you will also have the ability to select slot times that are convenient for you.
