About

A degree in Actuarial Science will prepare students to evaluate risk and opportunity in business settings. Students will learn how to use the findings to influence some of society’s most important economic structures. Students will learn how to apply mathematical concepts in real-life scenarios and utilize analytical skills to help companies and businesses plan for the future. The course is designed in four themes - Foundation Commerce Knowledge, Specialist discipline knowledge, Capstone experience, and Elective study. Students also have the option to opt for a double-degree program, where students will graduate with two separate qualifications at the same time.

Eligibility Requirements:

All Monash undergraduate courses require students to have successfully completed a minimum of an Australian Year 12 qualification or equivalent and achieve the required academic entry score. Students must demonstrate English language proficiency. At the time of enrolment in a course at Monash University, students must be at least 17 years of age.
