Established in 1951, Cape Breton University is known for its three institutions, namely the Xavier Junior College, Nova Scotia Eastern Institute of Technology, and the College of Cape Breton. The university is situated in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada, and its campus is a centre for local, regional, national, and global research. The Student Heritage & Cultural Centre is the newest addition to the campus. The Verschuren Centre, which works on energy and environmental concerns and is also a fantastic spot to get a cup of coffee, is located nearby.
