This is a rigorous program that provides a gateway to a career as a professional accountant. Students graduating from the program will be exempt from the CPA Canada Professional Education Program and will proceed directly to the CPA Canada Common Final Examination, which is one of the final steps in becoming a Chartered Professional Accountant. The program goes beyond the CPA professional requirements by providing students with all four competencies in the accounting field: assurance, tax, finance and performance management. This breadth of knowledge prepares graduates to work in a variety of professional roles.

Carleton University has the largest and oldest undergraduate aerospace program in Canada. There are four streams at Carelton Aerodynamics (aerospace propulsion and atmospheric flight); Aerospace Structures (lightweight vehicles for flight and space travel); Aerospace Electronics and Systems (aircraft control, communication, and navigation systems); and Space Systems Design (astronautics and space/satellite technology). All four streams emphasize developing practical and problem-solving skills based on hands-on laboratory and design work.
