About

Established in 1970, Douglas College is the largest public-degree granting college institution in British Columbia. It is known for being home to Canada's national laboratory for particle and nuclear physics. This laboratory houses the world's largest Cyclotron and Bamfield Marine Station, a major center for teaching and research in marine biology. The main campus of Douglas College is in New Westminster, Canada, and the other campus is the David Liam campus in Coquitlam. Additionally, there are some training centers in Surrey, Burnaby, and Maple Ridge.

Douglas College provides ten bachelor's degrees in health care, human services, business, creative arts, public university arts, and varied science courses. The college also includes programs in Applied Psychology, Psychiatric Nursing, Physical Education and Coaching, Business Administration, Nursing, Therapeutic, Child and Youth Care, Recreation Performing Arts, Criminology, and Social Work.
