The University of Saskatchewan is a public research university located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Founded in 1907, the university is a member of the U15 Group of Canadian research universities. The university features some of the top research faculties in the nation known for solving global problems, such as food and water security and energy sustainability. It is also at the forefront of the international vaccine research center. With more than 170 partners worldwide, the university leads the world's largest international freshwater research program, Global Water Futures.  


The University of Saskatchewan campus spreads across 1,865 acres of land within the city of Saskatoon. The campus is home to numerous colleges affiliated with the university, and it is one of Canada's most marvelous campuses due to its green space, buildings, and walkways. Additionally, the city attracts tourists with live music events, cultural experiences, and festivals offered year-round. 


USask is home to over 35,000 students from over 130 countries, and it welcomes students with an acceptance rate of 50%. The University of Saskatchewan serves around 130 academic programs from 13 colleges, three graduate schools, and six affiliated colleges. USask takes pride in its offered programs, including, Business, Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine, Arts, and Agriculture. The university has more than 100 student clubs, 7 on-campus museums & art galleries, and a state-of-the-art athletic facility. 


Highly recognized for collaborative and interdisciplinary research options, USask is also the choice of graduate students in more than 80 graduate and postgraduate programs. It offers $15 million in student funding, including scholarships for international students. Around 1,50,000 proud alumni of the University of Saskatchewan are making an impact worldwide. Alumni include two Nobel prize winners - Gerhard Herzberg (Nobel Prize in Chemistry, 1971) and Henry Taube (Nobel Prize in Chemistry, 1983), 72 Rhode Scholars, and 1 Prime Minister of Canada.
