The University of Winnipeg, established in 1967, is a public research university in Canada. The merger of Manitoba College and Wesley College led to the formation of United College in 1938. It offers diverse programs, reputed professors, and numerous research opportunities. The University of Winnipeg takes pride in its PACE Programs - Professional, Applied, and Continuing Education. The PACE programs offers industry-aligned certificates and diplomas that prepare students for the workforce with all the tools for long-term success. The University offers almost 700 courses, with a diverse range from humanities to sciences, and students can earn their degree in 4 or 6 years. The school also offers a Master's program for graduate students with increments of one year or two years. It is home to over 6000 students from all walks of life. The program in Energy Engineering with a course focus in clean energy is an interdisciplinary program intended to train students for careers in the energy sector and the renewable energy industry.
