The University of Winnipeg, established in 1967, is a public research university in Canada. The merger of Manitoba College and Wesley College led to the formation of United College in 1938. It offers diverse programs, reputed professors, and numerous research opportunities. The University of Winnipeg takes pride in its PACE Programs - Professional, Applied, and Continuing Education. The PACE programs offers industry-aligned certificates and diplomas that prepare students for the workforce with all the tools for long-term success.

The University offers almost 700 courses, with a diverse range from humanities to sciences, and students can earn their degree in 4 or 6 years. The school also offers a Master's program for graduate students with increments of one year or two years. It is home to over 6000 students from all walks of life. The acceptance rate of the University of Winnipeg is over 12%. The Co-operative Education Program at the University of Winnipeg collaborates with local, national, and international organizations to provide students with a diverse range of career opportunities. 

The University of Winnipeg is internationally recognized by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE) for its Master of Marriage and Family Therapy Program (MMFT). It is also recognized by the Department of Education and Training of Manitoba. This institution recognizes the outstanding academic achievements of its students by assisting them with financial aid, prize, scholarships, and bursaries.  

It is a campus enriched with innovative and robust research programs. The institution offers a broad range of services, including socio-cultural events, orientation programs, and mentorships to enlighten students. The new state-of-the-art UNITED Health and RecPlex offer new research and student practicum opportunities in kinesiology, education, and applied health. The RecPlex offers sports and recreation programs for students, Wesmen athletes, and the broader community.
