Founded in 1770, the Technical University of Berlin is a globally renowned and one of the most distinguished universities in Germany. TU Berlin is a part of the TU9, a group of some of the most prestigious and notable German Institutes of Technology. This university is one of the largest technical universities in Germany. The main campus is located in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf and a satellite campus in Egypt, representing a scientific and academic field office. The campus is home to two innovation centers designated by the European Institute of Innovation & Technology. The university is home to approximately 35,000 students, with around 40 research institutes offering 100 courses. It comprises seven colleges, including Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Humanities, Process Sciences and Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. TU Berlin accepts applications from all over the world with an acceptance rate of 50%. The university’s library holds over 3 million books and journals, as well as 1300 workstations, 300 computer workstations, and several meeting rooms. The language of instruction for this program is German. The master’s program in Aeronautics and Astronautics provides students with an all-around knowledge of areas relating to the construction, maintenance and operation of aircraft and astronautic systems, including aerodynamics, drive engineering, satellite technology, flight control, and the integral systems. The language of instruction for this program is German. The program teaches students the knowledge and skills of the fundamentals of vehicle engineering, teaching methodology, and educational science. The technical part of the curriculum focuses on topics such as surveying, ecological aspects of land cultivation and garden care, botany and fertilization, and landscape design and planning. The language of instruction for this program is German. Students will deepen their fundamental knowledge of the subject area as well as their knowledge of educational sciences, the teaching methodology, and secondary subject and language acquisition/German as a second language. The subject-didactic aspects of the studies consolidate with students' abilities to plan, teach and reflect upon lessons and introduce aspects of subject-didactic teaching research. The educational science sections of the program allow you to acquire interdisciplinary skills from the areas of the psychology of learning and educational diagnostics.
