Founded in 1770, the Technical University of Berlin is a globally renowned and one of the most distinguished universities in Germany. TU Berlin is a part of the TU9, a group of some of the most prestigious and notable German Institutes of Technology. This university is one of the largest technical universities in Germany. The main campus is located in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf and a satellite campus in Egypt, representing a scientific and academic field office. The campus is home to two innovation centers designated by the European Institute of Innovation & Technology. 

The university is home to approximately 35,000 students, with around 40 research institutes offering 100 courses. It comprises seven colleges, including Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Humanities, Process Sciences and Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. TU Berlin accepts applications from all over the world with an acceptance rate of 50%. The university’s library holds over 3 million books and journals, as well as 1300 workstations, 300 computer workstations, and several meeting rooms. 

The university ensures extraordinary performance in research and academics, serving students with excellent qualifications and a modern approach to solving societal issues. The regional, national and international networking with technical industries is an essential aspect of these milestones. Notable alumni of the university include Fritz Haber (Nobel Prize in Chemistry, 1918), Wolfgang Paul (German Physicist), and Wernher Von Braun (German-American Aerospace Engineer).
