The Technical University of Munich does not have any specific requirements. There are a few points on which special emphasis is usually given for initial screening:

The reputation of your University/Institute.

Academic records.

International outlook in research and innovation.

For international students, there generally is an initial screening where your application is evaluated, roughly based on the above points, and marks are given. If you are shortlisted, you are called for a Skype interview. The Skype interview is to evaluate your technical know-how and your interests. They essentially determine if you will be able to fit in effectively with the TUM course format.
