The University of Huddersfield was founded in 1992 and is known for its teaching quality focusing on its activities. The University of Huddersfield is a public university in Huddersfield, England. Health Sciences and Business, Human and Music, Humanities and Media Applied Sciences, Art, Design, Architecture, Computing and Engineering, Education and Professional Development are among the University's academic schools. Situated in Huddersfield, UK, the main campus of the University of Huddersfield is the Queensgate, which is south-east of Huddersfield town center. The second campus is University Campus Oldham (UCO), located in Oldham, Greater Manchester. The third campus is University Campus Barnsley, located in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.


It has also won the inaugural Higher Education Academy Global Teaching Excellence Award and achieved a Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) Gold Award.
