The Erasmus Charter is a member of the University of Sussex, created in 1961. The University of Sussex has 12 schools of study, and more than a third of the university’s students are enrolled in postgraduate courses. Sussex has a diverse community of nearly 20,000 students, with around one in three being international students and over 1,000 academics, representing over 140 different nationalities.

 

Situated in Brighton, East Sussex, United Kingdom, all the students of Sussex have easy access to the South Downs National Park,  Brighton’s vibrant nightlife, shops, and the beautiful seafront. The university’s campus is considered to be one of the most beautiful campuses in Britain, Sussex, it combines green open spaces with award-winning architecture designed by Scottish architect Sir Basil Spence.

 

The University of Sussex has produced many notable alumni, including 4 Nobel Prize winners, 15 Fellows of the Royal Society, and 10 Fellows of the British Academy. The University has also produced 24 fellows of the Academy of Social Sciences and a winner of the Crafoord Prize among its faculty.
