The University of West London was structured in 1992 and was formerly known as Thames Valley University. The university is known for its medical, engineering, and scientific research. It's highly competitive in computer science, engineering, law, architecture, and business school. Situated in the United Kingdom, it has three campuses, Ealing, Brentford (Greater London), and Reading, Berkshire. The Heathrow Archive, located on the Ealing campus, houses over 800 items that depict the story of Heathrow Airport's history from 1946 to 2016.

The university was the only one to receive the Queen's Anniversary Prize for quality in hospitality education and excellent accomplishment in 2009, and it continues to receive accolades from key industry organisations.
