Politecnico di Milano, located in the heart of Milan and established in 1863, offers excellent education in Engineering, Architecture, and Design at undergraduate, graduate, and higher education levels.

The university is organized into 12 departments and 4 schools - The School of Architecture Urban Planning Construction Engineering, the School of Design, the School of Civil, Environmental and Land Management Engineering, and the School of Industrial and Information Engineering. Research plays a central role in the university's mission, aiming to provide the best standards in education. The organization has strong connections to corporate research, significant European funding, and a range of well-equipped laboratories to support the research.

The university has seven campuses, two of the campuses of the University are located in Milan, and five of them are in Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna region. The one in Milan is the central campus, where the most of the research and teaching activities are carried out. Based in Milan, one of the most influential cities and the international capital of fashion and design, the university hosts an ever-increasing number of international students who currently come from more than 100 countries.

Giulio Natta, the 1963 Nobel laureate in chemistry, and Renzo Piano, the 1998 Pritzker Architecture Prize winner and designer of numerous iconic structures like the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris and the Shard in London, are just a few of the university's well-known alumni.
