It combines a range of disciplines like physical sciences, biology, medicine, and engineering with the goal of innovative advances in techniques and technologies for cancer research, diagnosis, and therapy.

This program is the study and practice of diagnostic laboratory medicine and is one of the most dynamic professions in health care today. Clinical laboratory scientists analyze body tissues, fluids, and other substances using complex instrumentation, sophisticated techniques, and specialized knowledge. Using laboratory equipment, the clinical laboratory scientist analyzes body fluid samples, such as blood, urine, or DNA samples.
