Art theory and criticism present an interdisciplinary course of study that emphasizes conceptualization in modern and contemporary art practices, the asking of foundational questions about the nature and function of art concerning human subjectivity and society, and the endeavor to link the aims of art to concerns in other disciplines.

The Biology program is built on a foundation of student involvement. With dynamic professors, newly renovated teaching and lab facilities, and small class sizes, students learn and work in an engaging atmosphere that encourages practical experience in the lab and field. Students will develop skills in analytical reasoning, critical thinking, scientific analysis, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication.
