In this program, students will delve deep into the causes of crime and how it's handled in the society. Classes explore topics like homicide, policing, terrorism, psychopathy, and juvenile delinquency to help students understand criminal behavior and the factors that shape the criminal justice system. They’ll also build career skills through an internship at a nonprofit, criminal justice, or governmental agency.

The curricular content and field training provides advanced theoretical knowledge, scientific base, role/leadership development, and advanced clinical assessment and decision making. Students of the program will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to teach, lead, advocate and improve healthcare outcomes for diverse individuals, families, groups, communities, and populations in a variety of settings.

About

In this program students can also take part in the annual NAIOP University Challenge. With a team of fellow undergraduate real estate students, students will compete against local universities to come up with a development strategy for a real piece of land in San Diego. The experience will challenge students to think about how to make properties more profitable while fueling economic growth.
