What is need-blind admissions and need-based aid at Yale University?

Need-blind means that Yale College has been admitting students based on academic and personal promise, without considering their ability to pay. The Need-based aid means that financial aid packages are based on individual needs’ assessments. International students are also evaluated using a needs analysis that considers the relative differences between the economy of the US and the economy of the student's home country.

Is an interview required for non-degree programs at Yale University?

No. Yale does not offer nor requires interviews for applicants for the Non-Degree Students Program.

If I am denied admission into Yale University, can I reapply?

Yes, but the student must submit a new application for admission in a subsequent year. You will also need to submit your application fee again.
