Appication Process for this scholarship

  • International Entrance Scholarships and Awards are automatically awarded, with no application required, to non-Canadian citizens entering Lakehead University from a recognized high school curriculum, or who are transferring from an international college or university.
  • The scholarship is available to the top international high school students applying to Lakehead University for 2023-2024.

Scholarship Eligibility

Applicants must hold one of the following certificates:

  • A State Higher Secondary Certificate awarded by a State Board of Higher Secondary Education or;
  • India and Delhi Senior School Certificate awarded by the Central Board of Secondary Education or;
  • Indian School Certificate awarded by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations
  • with academic achievement 90.0%
  • English language proficiency:
    • IELTS- overall 6.5 with minimum score 6.0
    • PTE- overall score 58 with no component less than 20
    • TOEFL- overall score 80 no component score less than 19
