Scholarship Eligibility

  • US citizens and financial aid eligible noncitizens must have a completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the Office of Financial Aid and must have completed all FAFSA verification requirements.
  • The applicant should have exhausted all other financial resources available, including student loans and the Parent PLUS loan.
  • Applicants selected for financial aid verification must complete the verification process before the scholarship committee will review the application.
  • Applicants must be in good academic standing at the time of application and at the time of the award.
  • Applicants must complete all sections of this application, attach documentation supporting their exceptional financial need, and explain their financial plan for future semesters (if not graduating at the end of the award semester).
  • “Exceptional financial need” means the student’s financial situation is such that, without assistance from this program, the student will be unable to continue enrollment at the University of Arkansas. Documentation of the student’s account balance or federal financial aid information should not be attached.
  • Students must be enrolled in the semester for which they receive funding under this scholarship program.
  • Scholarships awarded through this program conform to established cost of attendance procedures and will be applied to any outstanding balances on the student account.
  • Receipt of a Chancellor’s Student Success Scholarship may require participation in the Academic Enrichment Program (AEP), which provides academic and social support through the Center for Multicultural and Diversity Education or Academic Support and Outreach Program (ASOP) through Student Success.
  • To maximize funding availability, students are generally only eligible to receive one Chancellor’s Student Success Scholarship during their entire enrollment.
