Additional Information: Applicants are not required to submit English proficiency scores if they have completed their degree entirely in English.
Scholarship Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants need to:
- Be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand and not a permanent resident of Australia
- Have applied for an eligible graduate coursework degree
- Not be in receipt of any other tuition fee remission scholarship or sponsorship which, in combination with the Melbourne Graduate Scholarship, exceeds 100% of tuition fees
- Academic requirements:
- Applicants must have an undergraduate degree in any discipline, or equivalent
- Applicants must satisfy the English language proficiency requirement with one of the following tests:
- IELTS: Overall 65, with no band less than 60
- TOEFL (internet): Overall 79 with Writing 21, Speaking 18, Reading 13, Listening 13
- Pearson Test of English (Academic): Overall 58-64 inclusive and no communicative skill below 50
- Preference will be given to following candidates:
- Eligible candidates are selected on the basis of academic merit
