Appication Process for this scholarship

Scholarship Eligibility

• Applicants:
• must hold any one of the following:
• an Australian bachelor’s degree in information technology or information systems with a credit average (65 percent), or equivalent qualification
• an Australian Bachelor of Engineering degree with a credit average (65 percent) and a major sequence of study in computer engineering, software engineering, or equivalent qualification
• an Australian bachelor’s degree in an unrelated discipline with a credit average (65 percent) and two year’s professional work experience in the information technology industry, or equivalent qualifications
• must satisfy the English language proficiency requirement by submitting one of the following tests:
• IELTS- Overall score of 6.5, with a minimum score of 6.0 in each band
• TOEFL- Overall score of 85, with a minimum of 17 in reading, listening and speaking and 19 in writing
• PTE- Overall score of 61 with 54 in each band
• must be enrolled for CRICOS registered program of study at the University in any postgraduate coursework degree program
• To continue receipt of the Scholarship, the student must maintain a minimum semester average mark of 65 and have no outstanding tuition fees
• must be willing to promote the program in which they are enrolled as well as represent the University of Sydney at student orientation, marketing events and corporate networking events
