Scholarship Eligibility

In order to be eligible to receive the South Asia Scholarship prospective students must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a national of, or have permanent residence in, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, or Sri Lanka.
  • Hold a Conditional or Unconditional Offer from the University of Lincoln for a full-time postgraduate taught programme commencing in January 2025, September 2025 or January 2026
  • A £3,000 scholarship will automatically be awarded to students who have:
    • a) Completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:1 classification or
    • b) Completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University
  • A £1,000 scholarship will automatically be awarded to students who have:
    • a) Completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:2 classification or
    • b) Completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University
