Additional Information:

University also accepts the following against IELTS exam:

  • 60% or above in 12th Standard National Education Boards (CBSE/CICSE) in English Core; English Comm. or Functional English, or
  • 60% or above in Maharashtra/ West Bengal/ Karnataka/ Delhi/ Tamil Nadu state boards, or
  • 65% or above in Kerala state board, or
  • 70% or above in all other state board
  • Sponsored students will not be entitled to UEL international scholarships

 

Scholarship Eligibility

Applicants:

  • Must have passed HSC/ Intermediate Exam for Class XII with 60% or above, OR
  • A 3 or 4-year technical diploma with grades of 55% or above, OR
  • 2 years of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject
  • Subjects required for MEng Civil Engineering (Integrated Master’s): Mathematics, English and either Physics or Double Science
  • Subjects required for BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science: English and Maths and Double Science
  • satisfy the English language proficiency requirement with:
    • Overall IELTS 6.0 – minimum of 6.0 in Writing and Speaking; minimum 55 in Reading and Listening (or recognised equivalent)
    • PTE 56 and above -56 in Writing and Speaking, 51 in Reading and Listening
