Scholarship Overview

Chancellor’s Masters Scholarship is offered by the University of Sussex . Chancellor’s Masters Scholarship is awarded to Masters Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given one time. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is GBP 5000. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. “To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their 12th grade and also possess a Bachelor degree.

Application Process: To be considered for the Chancellors Masters Scholarship,

  • you need to have received and accepted an offer of a place on an eligible Masters at Sussex and hold, or expect to achieve, a First Class UK Bachelors degree

  • Applicants are not eligible for this scholarship if they:
  • Already have another Sussex scholarship (such as the Chancellor’s International Scholarship)
  • Have studied at a UK university’s overseas campus or partner college
  • Are a 2021ussex Graduate

Scholarship Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must:

  • Hold or expect to achieve a First Class Bachelors degree from a UK university
  • Have applied and received an offer for a full time, eligible Masters degree at Sussex starting in September
  • Submit a separate scholarship application after they have applied for their Masters
  • Preference will be given to following candidates:
  • Priority will be given to applicants that have not already completed a postgraduate qualification
