Federation University Australia offers the International Students Global Excellence Scholarship. Every year, the International Students Office of Federation University Australia awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. • Applicants are required to pay fees due in advance as outlined in the official International Student Offer and Acceptance Agreement, including Overseas Student Health Cover
• To continue receiving the scholarship into the second and future semesters, awardees must maintain their enrolment with the University, at the study location specified in their offer letter
• If an awardee is approved compassionate or compelling leave from studies for a semester, the scholarship will be reinstated on their return to study

Scholarship Eligibility

• Applicants must meet the following academic performance requirements:
  • Completion of all India Senior School Certificate (CBSE) or Indian School Certificate (CISCE) with an average of 60% in the best four academic subjects (excludes local languages, work experience, physical education, and other non-academic subjects) OR
  • Higher Secondary Certificate with an average of 70% for Punjab and Haryana or 65% for other State Boards in the best four academic subjects
  • Meet the criteria of a Genuine High Achiever – Undergraduate degree program – overall academic performance with ‘Distinction’ in Year 12 (senior high school)
• English Language Proficiency test score:
  • IELTS: Overall Academic IELTS band score of 60, with no band less than 60
  • TOEFL: Overall 60-78, with a minimum score of Reading 13, Listening 12, Speaking 18, and Writing 21
  • PTE: Overall 50, with no band less than 50
• A new or commencing international student
• Enrolling as a commencing student in semester 1, 2, or summer semester in 2022
• Eligible to study in Australia with a valid visa
• Not be in receipt of any other University Scholarship
• Preference will be given to the following candidates:
  • Selection of successful applicants for the limited number of scholarships is competitive and may require scores above the minimum requirements
