Appication Process for this scholarship

  • Simply mention you are a GCU graduate when applying for your course and the discount will be deducted (after any third party funding has been deducted). The fee discount applies Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught programmes both full-time and part-time.
  • A discount of 30% discount from self funded tuition fees are available to students starting in 2024/2025 academic year who have received their undergraduate or postgraduate taught from GCU (or one of the founding institutions).

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Applicant must be self-funded
  • an undergraduate degree from GCU (must have graduated)
  • or a GCU Summer School
  • or an exchange program at GCU
    • Applicants must have any one of the following in the relevant subject:
    • Four years Bachelor’s degree (50% minimum; second class average over course duration)
    • Three years Bachelor’s degree (60% minimum; first-class average over course duration) OR
    • The UK Honours degree 2:2 (or equivalent) in any discipline
  • Non-standard entry is welcomed, particularly for applicants with CIPD certification and an unclassified degree/HND qualifications (or equivalent) with relevant experience
  • IELTS: 6.0 (or equivalent) with no element below 5.5
  • PTE Academic: Overall score of 54 with no element less than 51
  • Other academic and vocational qualifications:
    • Each application to GCU is considered on an individual basis
    • If students do not have the typical academic entry qualifications but can demonstrate relevant work experience and/or credits from recognized professional bodies, they may be eligible to enter this course via the University’s Recognition of Prior Learning scheme
