Appication Process for this scholarship

 

  • A statement on why you merit this scholarship and how your future goals will be advanced by undertaking the MA program
  • (A statement (500 words maximum or audio-video (3-minute maximum))
  • An example of academic work (5000 words maximum) or up to 3 examples of journalistic work – published or unpublished (print, video, or online)
  • A CV (2 pages maximum) outlining background, education, and achievements
  • Submit all documents to CatherineCarey@ucd.ie
  • If awarded, the scholarship cannot be combined with any other tuition scholarship
  • In the instance that an applicant is awarded more than one scholarship offer, they will receive the scholarship of greater financial value
  • Following notification of a scholarship offer, students must accept their scholarship offer online within the timeframe stipulated in the Offer Letter
  • Candidates for the scholarship must pay the deposit required upon acceptance of an offer to study at UCD
  • The scholarship is non-transferable and will apply only to the programme and academic term (or ‘commencement date’) associated with the offer letter that contains the scholarship award
  • Once the offer of the scholarship has been issued, a student who declines the initial offer of admission to UCD may not transfer the scholarship to another program
