Additional Information
Before applying –

  • Check your eligibility
  • Read the instructions and the application form carefully, including the Terms and Conditions and the character limit for your answers (1000 characters for each question, 1000 character limit for your financial statement)
  • Check the deadlines – This is really important, as they cannot accept late applications. Please note that the Subject Scholarships have two rounds – if you are not successful in Round 1, you will automatically be considered in Round 2 and do not need to submit a new application.

When applying –

  • You are not able to amend your application once it has been submitted, so we strongly advise that you write your answers in a separate document, such as Microsoft Word, and then copy it from there and paste it to the application form only when you are ready to submit
  • Questions – You will be asked a number of questions as part of the application form. They have your qualification details already, so use this opportunity to demonstrate how you are an exceptional student
  • Funding – as this is a partial scholarship, they need to know how you intend to fund the rest of your studies, both tuition fees and living costs. Use this section to give details of how you will cover the remaining amount. This can be a combination of ways, such as personal funds, bank loans or other scholarships
  • Be yourself – you are the only person who can answer these questions like you. And it is you they want to see. So be authentic
  • Try to focus on facts, rather than emotions, when answering the questions
  • Proofread your application – carefully read through your application to make sure you have read the instructions, answered the questions carefully and that there are no mistakes
