The Superior School of Perfume - Grasse addition to Paris, if there is another city that has benefited from the perfume trade, it is the city of Grasse. Why Grasse? Because the climate was considered favorable there for the plantations of the raw materials used to create the best perfumes. As a result, over time, Grasse began to become the capital of French-style perfumery. Moreover, this city saw the birth of the famous corporation of French perfumers glovers in 1656 who, to erase the smell of leather, used perfume created from the natural essences of the region. Then, while the tannery industry began to decline in Grasse, the perfume industry, meanwhile, became increasingly flourishing.
