If students are interested in a career developing societally beneficial data science and artificial intelligence solutions to real-world problems like climate change, financial services, or sustainable development, the BSc (Hons) AI and Data Science course will equip students with the knowledge and skills required. During this course, students will learn how to manage, explore, analyse, understand and visualise image, text, or numerical data and apply these skills to challenges in areas such as autonomous vehicles, financial decision making, health diagnosis, or robotics. As well as technical skills such as software development and machine learning, students will also develop the creative thinking skills required for a career developing novel solutions to the key societal and environmental challenges affecting the world today.
